Salman Khan in car

Last week, the prosecution in Salman Khan‘s hit and run case, had ended the argument in the High Court stating that the star was behind the wheels when this fatal accident took place. He was drunk and driving the car and the court should uphold the punishment of five years imprisonment given to the star by the lower court, urged the prosecution. After this, everyone is waiting for the court’s final verdict on the same.

The court has started dictating it’s order and a recent update, in this case, informs us that the court has decided to not consider Salman Khan’s then bodyguard Ravindra Patil’s statement. The court order states,”Evidence of Ravindra Patil is not to be considered as an alternative as it was recorded for a lesser charge.” The lower court who sentenced Salman Khan for five-year imprisonment had convicted the star on the basis of Ravindra Patil’s statement and now the high court has decided to discard his testimony.
