Avatar The Way Of Water had another steady day at the box office, in terms of the first Wednesday collections. However, the movie did witnessed another normal fall in the sixth day collections. Directed by James Cameron, the movie was released theatrically on December 17. Avatar The Way Of Water made phenomenal collections of over 170 crore nett on day 6 at the box office.

On the first Wednesday, the James Cameron directorial managed to rake a collection of 15 crore nett. Going by the day 6 collections, so far, Avatar 2 has made a total of oveer 175 crore nett to 177.50 crore nett. And, the movie is expected to make a collection of approximately 190 crore nett in the first week.

So far, Avatar 2 has remained steady at the box office, after a fantastic opening day collection of 40 crore nett. In the first week itself, the James Cameron directorial surpassed the 100 crore mark at the box office.

A Box Office India report said, “The film is all set to emerge a BLOCKBUSTER and the collections on the second Friday should confirm that. Even if Friday comes out a bit lower it will not really matter as there will be the holiday weekend to make up lost ground.” As per the reports, Avatar 2 has even seen a slight disappointment in the performance at the Hindi circuits. In comparison to Avengers Endgame, the Marvel movie made better collections in the Hindi circuits than that of Avatar 2.

Meanwhile, the James Cameron directorial features Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao, and Matt Gerald, reprising in their roles from the first instalment of the movie. Kate Winslet, amongst others adds to the new members of the cast.
