Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali continues to do well at the box office. The Alia Bhatt starrer crossed the 100 crore mark, nationally, a few days ago. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is receiving a lot of praise and is riding high on positive reviews from critics and the audience. The movie continues to collect well at the box office. The Alia Bhatt starrer has managed to make a decent collection in 16 days of its release. Gangubai Kathiawadi is making a good collection at the box office, despite the release of films like The Kashmir Files and Rahe Shyam.

A Box Office India report said that the Alia Bhatt movie has started to beat Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. The collections of the movie in total, to date, are 108 crore nett plus. The movie made a collection of Rs 4.25 crore nett approximately, on the sixteenth day of the release.

According to the report, “Gangubai Kathiawadi continues to do very well at the box office despite the fantastic response to The Kashmir Files and the huge release of Radhe Shyam which led to a drop in screens for Gangubai Kathiawadi. The collections of Gangubai Kathiawadi till date are 108 crore nett plus.

As per the report, “The collections of Gangubai Kathiawadi are now beating Sooryavanshi as Sooryavanshi collected 3.75 crore nett on day fifteen while here the figure is 4.25 crore nett and this is the first time that the film has bettered the daily numbers of Sooryavanshi which is highest grosser so far post the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Alia celebrated her movie crossing 100 crore mark recently. She shared a photo of her enjoying a Vegan burger and fries.
