‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ Box-Office Report: This romantic-comedy becomes Kartik Aaryan’s highest first-day opener

‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ hit the screens on December 6. The movie starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles. On Day 1, the movie pocketed a good amount at the box-office. It is Kartik Aaryan’s biggest opener till date.

Trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the Day 1 collection of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. He tweeted, “#PatiPatniAurWoh is excellent on Day 1… This, despite competing with another biggie [#Panipat], which resulted in screens/shows getting divided… Expect solid growth on Day 2 and 3… Emerges #KartikAaryan’s biggest opener… Fri ₹ 9.10 cr. #India biz.”

He also shared the Day 1 collection of Kartik’s previous movies. ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ minted Rs 92 lakh, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ Rs 6.42 crore, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ Rs 6.80 crore and ‘Luka Chuppi’ Rs 8.01 crore.
