Salman Khan's 'Race 3 surpasses 'Baaghi 2' to become the highest weekend opener!

Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ may have opened to mixed reviews by critics, but the action thriller has been minting crores at the box office. With raking 29 crores on the first day itself, the movie now stands at whopping 106.47 crores. Within just three days, Remo D’Souza’s directorial has shattered the lifetime collection of over 30 films including the big-budget movies like ‘Raid’, ‘Pad Man’, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ and ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’.

And, now ‘Race 3’ has surpassed Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 2’ weekend collections to become the highest weekend opener. ‘Baaghi 2’ which released on 30th March was only able to collect 73.10 crores over the weekend. But we all know how Salman Khan’s film work at the box office, and it was no wonder when ‘Race 3’ entered the 100cr club over the weekend. Say for that matter, we are dead sure that Khan’s movie will soon beat ‘Baaghi 2’s lifetime collection as well. To those uninitiated, Tiger’s action drama minted 253.18 crores at the box office.

Well, it is surprising to know that the movie has been rock steady at the BO despite all the negative reviews and publicity. Anyway, we are happy that the movie is faring well, and also hope that it bags awards at many ceremonies this year.
