Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar The Revenge is on its way to become the fastest Indian film to gross Rs 1500 crore worldwide. Released just 15 days ago – with paid previews a day earlier in a few Indian cities, the Ranveer Singh-led spy action thriller has shown no signs of slowing both domestically and globally. The film has been making and breaking box office records at both levels, also emerging as the highest grossing Hindi film worldwide (excluding earnings from China).

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office
As reported by trade website Sacnilk, Ranveer Singh-led Dhurandhar The Revenge saw a 9% drop in its income on Day 15, netting Rs 18.30 crore from 17,030 shows across the country. Combining the film third Thursday’s collection with its Week 1 and Week 2 nett earnings, the film’s current domestic nett collection amounts to Rs 937.82 crore.

Dhurandhar The Revenge Worldwide Box Office
While the Aditya Dhar directorial is still to nett more than Rs 1000 crore in India, the film’s total India gross collections amounts to Rs 1,122.77 crore. Overseas, the spy action thriller earned Rs 5.00 crore on Day 15, taking its total overseas gross to an impressive Rs 370.00 crore. Combining the film’s domestic and global gross earnings, the film’s worldwide collection currently amounts to Rs 1,492.77 crore.
Given it’s Good Friday today, and several people have offs, the film will easily cross the Rs 1500 crore globally in the shortest amount of time for any Indian film.
About The Film
Presented by Jio Studios and produced by Aditya Dhar’s B62 Studios, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is written and directed by Dhar. The film is co-produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. It sees Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera reprise their roles from the first film.
The sequel gives the audience a glimpse into Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s past and why he became Hamza Ali Mazari. The spy action thriller details Hamza’s rise in the Karachi underworld and the lengths he goes to in order to take down terrorist organisation in Pakistan. Giving the film a 4.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Dhurandhar 2 Will Not Disappoint. From Aditya Dhar’s writing and direction to Ranveer Singh’s power-packed but emotional and raw performance to its music, side character arcs, set design, action, VFX and more, all the boxes have been ticked.”
Unlike the first part, this instalment of the high-octane spy-action spectacle has released in five languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
