Dhurandhar: Ranveer Singh’s Epionage Drama Replaces Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal To Enter India’s Top 10 Films List

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has taken over the world and how. The Ranveer Singh-led action spy thriller – released in global cinemas in December 5, has been making and breaking box office records in Indian, and the latest is it’s entry into the Indian cinema’s all-time top 10 highest grossing/netting listt. India’s Top 10 Films

A look at the film’s latest box office collection shows that dhurandhar has officially edged past Animal’s lifetime collection in India to claim the 10th spot in India’s Top 10 films of all time. The collection that pushed the Ranveer Singh-led espionage drama to achieve this feat was its strong third-Sunday numbers that helped it accumulate a total of over Rs 555 crore net.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal earlier occupied the 10th position with a net collection of Rs 553.87 crore. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial’s worldwide total amounted to Rs 915 crore.

The milestone also makes Dhurandhar the third 2025 release to feature on the list, after Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 and Chhaava. With lesser than Rs 50 crore, Dhurandhar will beat the lifetime domestic collection of Street 2 and climb a position higher.

With Rs 100 crore added to its Day 17 collection, Dhurandhar will rise several spots and could even make it into the Top 5.

Dhurandhar vs Animal?

While the positioning in the Top 10 Indian films of time is surely grabbing eyeballs, there has been no rivalry between the two films. In fact, Sandeep Reddy Vanga took to social media and praised Dhurandhar. He wrote. “DHURANDHAR is like a man who doesn’t talk much & carries a masculine spine.. DHURANDHAR The title fits because the film moves with dominance & fierce. The depiction is very clear with zero chaos. Music, performances, screenplay & direction are on the top. #AkshayKhanna sir and @RanveerOfficial erased into air & just disappeared into characters effortlessly.”
