Jawan worldwide box office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer storms over Rs 600 crore mark in 6 days

Without a doubt, the box office belongs to Shah Rukh Khan this year. The actor has taken over the ticket counters from the beginning of 2023 and has been shattering every other record. After record breaking collection of Pathaan, he has surpassed himself with Jawan and its worldwide box office collection tells a dreamy story.

Jawan is achieving a new milestone with each passing day. Day 6 collections also tell a similar story, just with a new record. After the first 5 days, Shah Rukh’s film had grossed Rs 574.89 crores worldwide. After Day 6 collection, the figures have gone even higher and crossed the Rs 600 crore mark. The total worldwide box office collection of Jawan now stands at Rs 621.12 crores.

At this pace, the film is expected to close its extended first week worldwide at around Rs 700 crores. What works in favour of the film is that there is no other big Indian release for a while. Prabhas starrer Salaar was going to be the next biggie hitting the theatres on September 28, 2023. However, its makers officially have postponed the film to an undisclosed date. Thus, Jawan will now enjoy a bigger and clearer run at the box office. Also, since the word-of-mouth has been great for the film, that also has helped in increasing the collection.

Alongside SRK, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra. The film released in theatres worldwide on September 7, 2023. The Atlee actioner has become a celebration across the world and the film is expected to cross several more box office records in the coming time.
