Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files is showing no signs of slowing down. The movie released on March 11 and it opened with around Rs. 3 crore and eventually due to the word of mouth, it started minting moolah at the box-office. Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey released last Friday and the Kashmir Files affected its collection. The political drama is running successfully even on weekdays. On Tuesday, the collection slowed down a bit as it pocketed Rs. 10.25 crore whereas on Monday, it encashed Rs 12.40 crore. The total collection of The Kashmir Files stands at Rs. 190.10 crore. As per trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh, by tomorrow it will cross Rs. 200 cross.

Sharing the box-office collection of The Kashmir Files, he tweeted, “#TheKashmirFiles continues to stand tall, runs triumphantly on weekdays… Trending strongly on weekdays… Will cross ₹ 200 cr tomorrow [Thu; Day 14]… [Week 2] Fri 19.15 cr, Sat 24.80 cr, Sun 26.20 cr, Mon 12.40 cr, Tue 10.25 cr. Talking about the worldwide collection, it has already crossed Rs. 200 crore as it collected Rs. 206.10 crore in 11 days.

The Kashmir Files has a mega competition ahead as SS Rajamouli’s RRR is hitting the screen this week (March 25). In that case, let’s see how the film performs.

The Kashmir Files is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the Kashmir insurgency in 1990. The film stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar among others. The film is bankrolled by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri under the Zee Studios, IAmBuddha and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners.
