Actor Vipin Bhardwaj’s journey in the entertainment industry has been anything but easy. The actor-model – who made his acting debut as an antagonist in the film 2020 film Wanton, is all set for a big Bollywood debut with Salman Khan-starrer Battle of Galwan. During an exclusive interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Vipin opened up about prepping for his character long before he even signed the dotted line and joined the cast. Read on to know all he shared.
Vipin Bhardwaj On His Prep For Battle Of Galwan Even Before Being Cast
During our chat, Vipin Bhardwaj revealed his preparation for Battle Of Galwan began long before he was officially selected. He shared, “I worked relentlessly for the auditions. I even chopped off my long hair just to fit the part. I kept practicing my scenes everywhere — while travelling, resting, or training.” He added, ” I would sit in ice baths, study the history of the Battle of Galwan, and watch everything related to the Indian Army. For me, it was a do-or-die situation. Failure was simply not an option.”
During the same conversation, he added that the physical and mental transformation required for the role pushed him beyond his limits. He shared, “I had never experienced high-altitude conditions where oxygen levels are low. There was no one to guide me, so I had to learn everything on my own,” Vipin underwent intense lung-capacity training, mask training on treadmills, underwater workouts, and followed a strict diet to build muscle mass.
