BEST & WORST DRESSED: A report on Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Ananya Panday’s style at Dior fashion show

Mumbai saw one of the biggest fashion shows on Thursday and it was simply mind-blowing. On March 30, a Dior Fashion show was held at the Gateway of India, Mumbai where we saw several Bollywood celebs flaunting their fashion side on the red carpet and we were stunned to see them. Stars like Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Khushi Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Karisma Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, Masaba Gupta, Shweta Bachchan, Shibani Dandekar, Diana Penty, Freida Pinto, Kanika Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala and many more were seen putting their best fashion foot forward.

While some looked stunning in the Dior collection, some are meant to be forgotten. As we speak about this, we make a list of the best and worst Bollywood celebs along with their score card. Take a look at the Dior fashion show.

Best Dressed celebs:

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli: 10/10

The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actor looked stunning in a yellow maxi gown from the ace designer. She opted for minimal makeup with kohl eyes, slight pink blush and nude lip colour. Anushka did a middle partition hairdo with soft waves. Rounding her look, she picked drop gold earrings and must say, she looked breathtaking. On the other hand, her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli looked dapper in an olive green suit that he teamed with a white t-shirt and white sneakers.

Sonam Kapoor: 9/10

The Neerja actor was among the best-dressed celebs at the Dior fashion show. She picked a pink ensemble along with a matching trench coat. Sonam did wing eyes and subtle makeup along with light pink lip colour. Keeping her middle-parted hair down, Kapoor rounded her look with heavy Indian jewellery to mix and match which I thought was a bit too much. Apart from that small part, I think she looked great.

Khushi Kapoor: 8.5/10

Khushi wore the monochrome chequered dress and she oozed retro vibes or maybe that was her way to promote her upcoming movie, The Archies. The Bollywood debutante pulled her back into a half ponytail which she secured with a black bow. Rounding her look with a pearl choker, earrings and winged eyes, Khushi exuded a vintage look. She looked pretty.

Mira Rajput: 10/10

I absolutely loved Mira Rajput’s look at the Dior Fashion show. She wore the black ensemble with a pearl necklace and opted for a berry lip colour. Pulling her hair into a bun, Mira exuded elegance. I totally like it.

Athiya Shetty: 10/10

Speaking about Athiya, she has impressed me too as she flaunted her fashion side with extra panache. She paired her white one-side off-shoulder dress with a pearl choker with her hair pulled back into a neat bun. In fact, Shetty reminded me of Jazzy fashion because that bold red lip colour is enhancing her look to another level.

Shweta Bachchan: 9/10

There’s only one minor mistake in her look that made me take out one point from her look. Shweta looked quite pretty in the off-white embellished skirt that she teamed with a white shirt. The one mistake was the choice of jewellery. She wore a red beaded necklace and sadly, it wasn’t highlighting which is quite off-putting.

Diana Penty: 8.5/10

The Selfiee actor for a lavender dress that she rounded with a sleek middle-parted ponytail and minimal makeup. Even she opted for a pearl necklace and somehow, she managed to impress me with her look. There’s no major complaint here.

Karisma Kapoor: 7/10

Actually, Karisma Kapoor’s look is somewhere in the middle of the best and the worst dressed category, she somewhere falls in the middle. I won’t say that the dress is quite enchanting but the way Karisma carried it worked quite well on her part. Keeping her hair in a top-knot and choosing pearl choker just like others, Karisma looked refreshing.

Freida Pinto: 7/10

Frieda Pinto also falls into the same category as Karisma Kapoor. She kept her hair natural and paired the dress with a heavy beaded necklace. She looked pretty.

Worst dressed celebs:

Masaba Gupta: 2/10

Not a fan of this pattern of fashion, it looks quite tacky. Apart from her choice of footwear, nothing was eye-grabbing in Masaba Gupta’s look.

Arjun Kapoor: 3/10

Considering that it is one of the biggest fashion events, I was expecting some crazy fashion from the celebs; however, Arjun is one of those who didn’t experiment with his look. He picked a simple suit that he teamed with a casual shirt and it was boring AF!

Ananya Panday: 3/10

Surprisingly, Ananya Panday’s look was a letdown this time. She picked hot pink coords and a lot of things went wrong after that. From her hairdo to her choice of footwear, Ananya Panday didn’t impress me at all.

Shibani Dandekar: 3.5/10

It looks like Shibani didn’t take little efforts to even look presentable at the fashion event considering that she usually has good fashion taste. Nothing was appealing to me.

Kanika Kapoor: 4/10

I won’t say Kanika Kapoor looked bad but the only thing that I liked is her quirky jacket. It was quite eye-catching.

Sobhita Dhulipala: 1/10

Don’t even get me started. I mean what’s with that black leggings, Sobhita? It was a total letdown.
