Asha Bhosle’s mortal remains will be available for a final viewing at her residence, Casa Grande, in Lower Parel, from 11 am on Monday. She passed away at the age of 92 on Sunday, April 12, after battling prolonged health issues. Her last rites are scheduled to be performed at Shivaji Park on the same day, with her son Anand Bhosle requesting fans and well-wishers to refrain from gathering at the funeral site.

On Saturday, she was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital due to cardiac and respiratory problems. The following morning, her son Anand Bhosle confirmed her passing. Briefly addressing the media, he shared, “Tomorrow, from 10:30 am to 2 pm, people can come and take the last darshan of my mother at the Casa Grande building. At 4 pm, her last rites will be performed at the crematorium. I request people not to gather there, as there are chances of overcrowding.”
The family has announced that her last rites will take place at 4 pm the same day.

Asha Bhosle, renowned as one of Hindi cinema’s most successful singers, died at 92 on Sunday. She had been hospitalised in the ICU after experiencing cardiac and respiratory issues. Throughout her career spanning over eight decades, she recorded songs in multiple Indian languages, earning numerous awards. She was a seven-time recipient of the Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Award. Asha ji won the National Film Award twice—for “Dil Cheez Kya Hai” and “Mera Kuch Saamaan”.
She was also honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and conferred the Padma Vibhushan in 2008. Her chart-topping hits were “Dil Cheez Kya Hai,” “Inn Aankhon Ki Masti Ke,” “Ye Kya Jagah Hai Doston,” “Jab Bhi Milti Hai,” and “Justuju Jiski Thi.”
