According to her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle, she had been admitted after experiencing extreme exhaustion and a chest infection.

Amid the sombre atmosphere, a video of Jackie Shroff has gone viral on social media. The actor appeared visibly upset when paparazzi approached him and asked how he was feeling at the moment.

Responding sharply, he said, “Kasha vatnar, konachi aai geli tar? Aamchi aai geli hai. Kasa vatel manje, tera bolne ka matlab hai, kesa lagta hai maa kisi ki gayi to kesa lagta hai. (How would it feel if someone’s mother passes away? Our mother is gone. What do you mean by asking how it feels? How does it feel when someone loses their mother?)”

He further added, “Bas, khatam ho gaya baat. Hi time nahi re bolaycha, rahu de dada, ghari jaa. (That’s it, the matter ends there. This is not the time to say such things. Let it be, brother, go home.)”

Shroff then concluded, “Waisa hi laga (Felt exactly the same),” before ending the interaction with folded hands. He remained inside his car during the exchange, with the windows covered by sunshades, reflecting both his grief and discomfort at the moment.

About The Last Rites

The family shared details of the funeral of Asha Bhosle for fans and well-wishers wishing to pay their respects. Her son, Anand Bhosle, requested restraint and privacy during the funeral proceedings. He urged people not to gather in large numbers at the cremation site to prevent overcrowding.

Asha Bhosle’s final rites are scheduled for today, April 13, at 4 pm at Shivaji Park crematorium. She will be cremated with full state honours. Extensive security arrangements have been put in place at the venue. Several political leaders and film personalities are expected to attend. Her demise has sparked nationwide mourning, with heartfelt tributes pouring in from the film and music communities across the country.
