Karan Johar BREAKS SILENCE on his fights with Kajol and Kareena Kapoor: We hugged, we cried

Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan seaso 8 is making headlines lately. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were the first ones to grace the show. After Bollywood’s ‘IT’ couple, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol appeared together on the show. The third episode featuring Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday will be out today. The promos already gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming episode. The episode featuring Sara and Ananya promises to be fun-filled and entertaining.

While talking to Sara and Ananya, Karan Johar opened up about his fights with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kajol. As many know, KJo now shares a close bond with Bebo and Kajol. However, there was a time when he was not on talking terms with the actresses.

Karan talks about his fight with Kareena

Talking about Kareena and Karan’s fight, it all started after he offered her his film Kal Ho Naa Ho. At that time, Kareena demanded the same amount of money as Shah Rukh Khan. Post that, Karan and Kareena were not talking to each other for over 1.5 years. The duo patched up when she called him after his father Yash Johar passed away.

Recalling their conversation, KJo said, “She was like I don’t know what to say, I said, don’t say anything, I know you are there. When he passed away, she was in Bangkok, we still had not mended, and the point she landed from her shoot, she came home. We spent all night just chatting. We went back to where we were. When we fought, I said I was never going to speak with her again.”

Furthermore, Karan also opened up about his fight with Kajol. For the uninitiated, it all started during the release of KJo’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn’s film Shivaay. Ajay had reshared a tweet in which self-proclaimed critic and trade analyst Kamaal R Khan (KRK) claimed that he was paid to praise ADHM and thrash Shivaay. Kajol later reacted to the tweet saying, “Shocked”. Things turned sour between KJo and Kajol. However after few years, they patched-up.

Karan recalled messaging Kajol after his twins were born and said, “I said you don’t need to reply but these are what my children look like – Yash and Roohi. She messaged back and she said, I am just full of love right now. Month later, she said it’s my birthday, you don’t have to come but I went. We hugged, we cried and it was done.”

For the unversed, Kajol will be making an appearance with Rani Mukerji on KWK season 8. That’s not all, Ajay Devgn will be sharing the couch with his Singham Again director Rohit Shetty this season.
