Ever since Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick released in 2014, fans have been eagerly waiting to see Devi Lal Singh aka Devil return to the big screen and make us laugh our hearts out while also champagning a good cause. On October 4, 2024, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment took to their Instagram handle and share a picture of Salman Khan from the sets of Sikandar announcing Kick 2. Now, over a year later, Khan has shared some other news about the film.
During the recently held Bigg Boss 19 finale episode, Salman Khan revealed he was currently doing Kick 2 and (jokingly added that he) is planning on having BB19 finalist Pranit More join the cast. Scroll below to read and watch all he said.
Pranit More In Salman Khan’s Kick 2
Moments before he was eliminated from Bigg Boss 19, Pranit More was asked about the baggage(s) he wants to leave in the house. Revealing the things he wanted to part with before entering the real world, the stand-up comedian said, “Aur ek baggage tha mera, ki main Bollywood ke bahut actors pe jokes banata tha toh woh baggage bhi main yehi… (I have one more baggage – I used to make several jokes on and about Bollyood actors, I want to leave that here)” Cutting him mid-way, Salman said, “Woh baggage toh hum khali karenge. Woh aapka zimma nahi hai, woh hum sabka zimma hai. (That ‘baggage’ we will empty. That’s not your responsibility, that’s our duty.)”
Spilling the beans about Kick 2, the actor – who played Devi Lal ‘Devil’ Singh in the Sajid Nadiadwala directorial, said, “Toh abhi Kick 2 kar raha hu main aur tumhara naam main waha par 100% recommend karna wala hu. (I’m currently doing Kick 2 and I’m 100% recommending your name for it.)”
