EXCLUSIVE: Tinnu Anand REVEALS Sponsors Sell Awards To Bollywood Actors Before Shows; Claims, “Shah Rukh Khan 4 Cr Leta Hai”

Awards being sold to actors ahead of shows and functions is a longstanding rumour; however, Tinnu Anand has claimed that Shah Rukh Khan charges Rs 4 Crore for performing. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the filmmaker revealed why he doesn’t attend any award shows. He admitted how sponsors are the only ones benefiting from these shows. Tinnu Anand Reveals Shah Rukh Khan Charges Rs 4 Cr At Award Shows

When asked about why he dislikes award shows, Tinnu Anand revealed, “Award show uske baad main jaana band kar diya. Maine bola nahi jaana hai yaar, kya karna hai wahan pe? Sabne kharide honge awards, main jaanta hoon, everybody. They have paid moment unke liye hai, sponsors ke liye. Unki publicity hoti hai. Har channel cover karta hai unke award show ko. Toh ye publicity cost kya hota hai uska? Jo free mil rahi hai aapko. Isliye woh paisa baant-te bhi hain, bulate hain aapko.”

Speaking of, if actors are paid money to perform in functions, the actor responded, “Haan, crore-crore rupaye performance ke liye hote hain. 3 minute ke performance ke liye, on the dance, on the stage. Shah Rukh Khan 4 crore leta hai.”

Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his film, ‘King,’ with his daughter, Suhana Khan. King Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, made his directorial debut with Ba***ds of Bollywood, a series on Netflix. It has been widely appreciated and loved. As for Tinnu Anand, he was recently seen in Good Bad Ugly, Crazxy and Dil Dosti Aur Dogs. All these films were released in 2025.
