Bhramam, which is the Malayalam remake of Andhadhun is trending on the internet as the movie’s song named Munthiripoovo got released. Talking about the Munthiripoovo song, the track is composed and arranged by Jakes Bejoy, who has also crooned the song along with Midhun Suresh. The lyrics of the song are penned by B K Harinarayanan.

The song reminds us of one of the songs called Naina Da Kasoor from the Hindi version. Raashii took to her Instagram to share the poster of the movie and wrote, “Presenting to you the first single from the #Bhramam album – #Munthiripoovo. This one is pure magic!”

Speaking of the movie, this black comedy is directed by Ravi K Chandran. Aside from Prithviraj Sukumaran and Raashii Khanna, the movie also stars Unni Mukundan, Sudheer Karamana, Shankar Panicker and others Mamtha Mohandas in key roles.

The film which is produced by Viacom18 Studios & AP International is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on October 7. For the unversed, the movie follows the life of a pianist, who pretends to be blind. Prithviraj essays the role of the blind pianist which was played by Ayushmann Khurrana in the original.

The success of Sriram Raghavan’s Hindi movie Andhadhun led to regional remakes of the film. The Tamil version of the movie is called Andhagan and the Telugu one is known as Maestro.

The movie was in the news when reports suggesting Ahaaan was dropped from the cast of the movie started doing rounds on the internet. Reportedly, it was Ahaana’s father Krishna Kumar, who is also an actor, who had said that she was removed from the cast of Bhramam.
