Vivekh got himself vaccinated for Covid-19 yesterday (April 15) at Omandurar government hospital. He even greeted the media after getting vaccinated and explained why he chose a government hospital to a private hospital. He said that govt. hospitals are more accessible. Vivekh also requested everyone to get vaccinated. He told the media, “I want to make a point that getting the Covid-19 vaccine is safe. It doesn’t mean we will not get Covid-19 if we get vaccinated. We should still be careful once we take the vaccine. The vaccine assures that we do get affected severely”.

On the work front, he was last seen in Dharala Prabhu and will be seen in films like Indian 2, Legend Saravanan’s debut movie and reportedly, he will also star in Thalapathy 65. He worked in movies like Sivaji, Anniyan, and Parthiban Kanavu to name a few.

Vivek was honoured with the Padma Shri award for his contribution to the arts in 2009.
