Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1 The Ceasefire is one of the most anticipated films of the year. It was on 8th July when the teaser for Salaar released and had left the netizens mighty impressed. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel and also stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in essential roles. Even before the release, Salaar has closed its non-theatrical deal on a huge amount.

Prabhas starrer Salaar’s non-theatrical rights SOLD

The non-theatrical rights of Prabhas starrer Salaar is sold on a whopping price of Rs.350 crores. Well, this is huge! Star Network has obtained the satellite rights. On the other hand, Salaar’s digital rights is sold to Netflix for all languages. The upcoming film has already earned Rs.350 crores by selling its audio, digital and satellite rights. Way before its release, Salaar is already grabbing attention for the very right reasons!

Now, the netizens are not so impressed with the news that Salaar got postponed and the makers are yet to reveal the date. Previously, Salaar was supposed to release this month on the 28th, but the makers have decided to postpone the actioner.

Salaar gets postponed

On Wednesday, Hombale Films, the production company for Salaar took to its Instagram handle and confirmed the postponement. It said, “We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we’re committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards. The new release date will be revealed in due course. Stay with us as we make the final touches on #SalaarCeaseFire and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.”

Reportedly, Salaar will be releasing this year on November, around Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3.
