Stalwarts of Indian Cinema, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are all set to reunite after 33 years. The actors will be seen in Thalaivar 170. They have shared screen space in films like Hum, Andhaa Kaanoon and Geraftaar. After expressing excitement about the reunion on social media handle, Rajinikanth has now shared a picture with Shahenshah of Bollywood and it is taking the internet by storm.

A few days back, he shared a picture with Mr Bachchan and expressed excitement of reuniting with him. He penned, “After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca’s Thalaivar 170 directed by T.J Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy! (sic).”

Talking about Thalaivar 170, it is directed by TJ Gnanavel. The movie has an ensemble cast of Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Rithika Singh, Manju Warrier and Dussara Vijayan in prominent roles. The movie is expected to be released next year. After this, Rajinikanth will join hands with Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj for an action-thriller which is tentatively titled Thalaivar 171.
