Thalapathy Vijay Gets Mobbed By Fans At Chennai Airport; FALLS As Crowd Pushes To Meet Him- Watch

Actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay was recently in Malaysia for the audio launch of his upcoming film, Jana Nayagan. The actor returned to India, late Sunday night and was greeted to hundreds of fans at the Chennai airport. As seen in a clip now going on social media, the actor – who is also the president of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), was mobbed by those present and even stumbled before he could reach his car. Thalapathy Vijay Mobbed By Fans, Falls At Chennai Airport

On Sunday, briefly after attending the audio release event of Jana Nayagan in Malaysia, Thalapathy Vijay returned to Chennai and was surrounded by a horde of fans. Amid the heavy crowding, the actor was briskly taken to his car by guards. However, while attempting to reach his car, the actor-politician stumbled and fell just inches before his vehicle. Here’s a glimpse of the chaos that took place between his exiting the airport and entering his vehicle.

As seen in the clip above, amid the jostling, the actor lost his balance and fell. Security personnel reacted swiftly immediately, helping him up and escorting him into the vehicle. The actor did not appear to suffer any injuries, and the situation was brought under control within moments. One of the many reason for such a huge crowd present to greet him could be attributed to Jana Nayagan being described as his final project before he fully transitioning into politics.

Despite the brief scare, Vijay was seen leaving the airport safely, with security tightening arrangements as fans were dispersed.

The airport mobbing wasn’t the only thing that took place upon Thalapathy Vijay’s return to Chennai. As per television reports, a vehicle from Vijay’s convoy was involved in a minor mishap within the airport premises during the commotion. However, there has been no official confirmation or statement from airport authorities or Vijay’s team regarding the same.
